ABOUT For The Love of Pooch:
Hello & welcome to For the Love of Pooch! This blog is created by Erica.
In the Fall of 2010, I had just gotten my pup Mochi from the Town Lake Animal Center in Austin, TX. Around the same time, my good friend Felicia also got a pup named Leo. Leo and Mochi became instant friends and the perfect excuse for Felicia and I to hang out more often. Felicia's dad owns a doggy day care in Dallas, TX who has a friend that owns a doggy bakery. Felicia shared a recipe with me that she got from the doggy bakery owner.
It was so much fun making treats for our pups together and a great way to make sure our dogs were getting the nutrients and diet to live a healthy and happy life. As someone who loves baking, it made so much sense to bake for my pup as well!
As my interest for baking grew, I created this blog to share the love with other fellow doggy lovers so that their pup can have healthy, delicious, home-baked treats.
